New Loan Limits

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced the conforming loan limit for mortgages to be acquired by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2023. 

In most of the United States, the 2023 loan limit for one-unit properties will be $726,200. ⬆️

FHA announced that the loan limit for most of the United States for one-unit properties will be $472,030. However, in the Atlanta Metro Area, the loan limit for one-unit properties will be $592,250 for 2023.

Success Story

The end of the year is a time of reflection, celebration, and gratitude. Reflection on all of life’s blessings, a celebration of another year passed, and gratitude for all the lessons along the way.

In full transparency, the past year in the mortgage industry has been one of trials and tribulations. Shifts in the market and an increase in interest rates resulted in fewer applications, and the reality that we needed to reevaluate our staffing for this new normal. For months on end, I stressed to protect my team from the realities of what was happening, but of course, they knew. So, after many restless nights we had some very hard conversations, and as a result, had the BEST YEAR EVER! HOW? We came together!

My team and I came together and did what others wouldn’t. We went through our roles and responsibilities line by line, we renegotiated our tasks, and up-leveled the mortgage experience anywhere and everywhere we could find a spot. We acknowledged the changes in the market, talked about the challenges, and recognized where challenge is present there is GREAT opportunity. We discussed how doing hard things is what we are all about and we would learn how to do hard even better! Bottom line we showed up and we continue to do so. My team gives 150% each day to changing the lives of others.

I humbly share with you the results of our 2022 annual awards conference in November. I don’t share these to brag or seek attention, I share to thank each person who has supported us and trusted us along the way. This is possible because of YOU!!! You will never realize the impact you have made on the lives of myself and team.
